HEPA Filters ?
HEPA is an acronym for "High Efficient Particulate Air" and is a type of filter that can trap a large amount of very small particles that ordinary vacuums simply recirculate back into the air.
There are two categories that should be borne in mind:
1 True HEPA Filters must pass a test to be considered HEPA compliant, and they can trap at leat 99.97% of particles of 0.3 Microns.
2. HEPA type Filters may be made in similar ways to True HEPA filters and may resemble them, but they do not have to meet the standards of a True HEPA Filter. Often they capture only 85-90% of particles of 1 Micron and below.
Atrix Vacuums not only use special transparent hoses enabling you to see if any insects etc are caught in them - a common failing of ordinary vacuums, leading to re-infestation of the premises.
In addition: Hose plugs and Filter plugs are supplied as standard equipment with every Atrix Vacuum enabling you to plug the ends of the hose, and plug the filter, ensuring nothing can escape during storage and transportation.
